Swans of Eforie, a seaside spectacle

At the beginning of the summer season, Eforie starts to change. More people arrive, terraces reopen, and the resort slowly regains the energy it is known for.

And yet, some things do not change with the season.

At Capul Turcului, in Eforie Sud, the swans return every year from September until May. They do not appear only when the weather gets warmer, nor do they leave with the first cold days, because this gulf, sheltered from the wind and calmer than the rest of the shoreline, offers them stable conditions and enough food.

You first notice them from a distance, then closer and closer. There are many of them, gathering in groups and approaching the shore without fear, already used to the people who stop to watch or photograph them.

Even as the resort slowly becomes livelier again, this place still preserves something of the quiet atmosphere of the off-season. The swans are part of that feeling — a calm presence that changes the way you experience the sea.

On sunny days, the gulf fills with people who come specifically to see them. They stop along the promenade, take photos, and remain there watching their quiet spectacle — the way they approach the shore, stretch their wings, and glide slowly among one another.

Rezident Villa Eforie 1, 2 & 3, located between Eforie Nord and Eforie Sud, are close to the Capul Turcului area and the seaside promenade leading to the gulf. For those who choose the sea in any season, Rezident Tomis Marina, located in Tomis Marina Port, remains open all year round and is approximately a 30-minute drive from Eforie Sud and the area where the swans can be seen.

At Rezident, we appreciate places that allow you to discover these kinds of moments naturally, without having to search too hard for them.
